The city of Geneva in Switzerland offers a free gift card which can be used at various hotels, restaurants, cafes, bars,restaurants and museums. The move by the tourism bureau of Geneva, Switzerland is a strategy to lure travelers to visit. This step is expected to restore the tourism sector.
When visitors book at least two nights at a hotel in Geneva, they are automatically awarded a gift card that can be used to eat, drink and explore the city. This gift card in the form of a voucher expires on 31 December.

The Geneva Gift Card has a value of CHF 100 (93 euros, approx £ 84) and can be used as a choice of 60 hotels, 15 attractions and 80 types of restaurants. This voucher can also be used at top restaurants that have received Michelin recognition as well as the chocolate industry that is a mainstay of Switzerland.
Another advantage of visiting Geneva is, when you arrive at Geneva International Airport, you can get 80 minutes of free tickets to the city’s public transport system. In addition, if you stay at a hotel, hostel or campsite, you will receive a “Geneva Transport Card”, for free public transportation during your stay.
Currently, Switzerland has opened up to tourists from European countries. Starting June 2020, Switzerland has relaxed restrictions for travelers from Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
