Snaking its way through the Amazon rainforest, the Potaro River passes some of the most pristine and untouched nature on Earth until it abruptly reaches Kaieteur Falls. Here, the water suddenly plunges 226 metres through the air in the pool below, coating the surrounding area with a fine spray.
